Welcome back

Dear parents:

Welcome to our second term News Letter 2015. Hope all of you had a lovely break and happy new year.

During  January we will cover the theme Sports, as well as focus on shapes and colours and new letters.

We will also be doing lots of art and craft activities related to “Sports Day” which will be held 29th January 2015.

The children may get tired during these practice sessions so we would like to request all the parents to let their children get enough rest and sleep before they come to Early Years the next day. Can we also please request that parents do not send children in Crocs or Flip flops as these are not safe for running and could cause a child to trip up and injure themselves? Trainers and sturdy shoes are far better for young children’s feet as they offer full support to their growing feet.

Sports Day will take place on the big filed in School from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm. All Early Years Children Foundation 1& 2 and Reception X-Y-Z will be taking part. Please dress your child in appropriate comfortable clothing and trainers, if the weather is hot don’t forget hats and sun cream on that day. There will be an opportunity to have a snack so please provide your child with a balanced lunch box and water bottle.
We will have one break and that will be at 10:30-11:00am parents are welcome to share a  healthy snack finger food appetizers “Picnic  style “  then from 11:00am- 12:00pm we will continue our day.
