Parents:
Book Week will be held from Monday 22nd September, Early
years Unit (Nursery-preschool) this year we are having a particular emphasis on
inspiring our children to read and enjoy
Books, Each year group will be focusing on a
different book , and there are lots of exciting literacy based activities
planned.
Age 2-3 will be introduced to The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a children's picture book designed,
illustrated and written by Eric Carle.
Age 3-4 will be listening to the ginger
bread man story The Gingerbread Man is a children's
tale that has been told for many years. The moral of the story is that, in the
end, you may think you know best but should always be on your guard.

around 25-50 SDG with your child in an envelope , they will be buying
one book with the teachers. Between 10:30-1:00 in very small groups.
