The children have continued the Rhymes theme this week by doing various related activities.
Nursery children focused on the following rhymes:
I Hear Thunder, Humpty Dumpty, Two Little Dickie Birds, Hey Diddle Diddle and Pat-a-cake.
They created thundery pictures, Dickie Bird Puppets, Baskets, Dishes and Spoons. This week's baking activity was cupcakes. They have done matching activities, joining dots, finding circles, tracing lines and odd one out.
Preschool children focused on Baa, Baa Black Sheep, Incy Wincy Spider, Row Row Row Your Boat and I'm a Little Teapot. They have been introduced to the sound, shape and song for letter b and are familiar with objects beginning with the letter b. They have made butterflies, boats, bees and sheep. They have practised adding one more and adding to 10.
